Colin Richards
Founder & President
Financial Advisor
Colin is the founder and president of Lord and Richards. Colin has trained hundreds of financial advisors across the country. His method of helping his clients pursue financial independence is an innovative strategy in the marketplace. Colin has passed the Series 65 securities exam and holds life insurance licenses in multiple states so he can assist his clients with advanced planning. In addition, Colin and his wife Kaye Dee created the Foundation for Global Education to provide Christian education and charity throughout the developing world.
Joseph Weintraub, CRPC®
Financial Advisor
Joseph is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor®and a graduate in finance and business from the University of West Florida. After seeing the challenges his own family faced when preparing for retirement, Joseph dedicated himself to learning how to simply explain retirement planning to his clients. Since then, he has provided investment advice to clients, particularly those with employer-sponsored retirement plans.
Recently, Joseph proactively developed an online process for assisting clients that helped circumvent some of the challenges of helping them remotely.
Joseph and his wife, Melissa, are recently married and love traveling together.
Charles Faulhaber, CFP®
Director of Financial Planning
Financial Advisor
Charles is a Certified Financial Planner™ and Financial Advisor with Lord and Richards. Starting in the financial services industry at the young age of 20, not long before the Great Recession of 2008-2009, Charles has learned over the past 15+ years the critical value of an integrated, holistic financial plan for clients to successfully weather the storms of investment volatility. Charles is a student of financial planning and in addition to the CFP®, he also holds Colorado life and health licenses.
Charles and the love of his life, Erica, celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in 2021. In his free time, he enjoys laughing with his wife, walking their two bullmastiffs, working out, and seeking truth through the Bible.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and CFP® in the U.S., which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
Kari Beers
Director of Operations
Kari Beers came to Lord and Richards after working several years in operations for a national fitness chain where she assisted in opening new facilities in the Denver metro area and in Nebraska, Kansas and Utah. Most recently, Kari worked five years in Douglas County at Ben Franklin Academy and Valor Christian High School. Being a farm girl at heart, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in agriculture and a minor in management. At Lord and Richards, she is instrumental in managing the office logistics and helping solve problems whenever they arise.
Kari and her husband, Ike, have been married for over 25 years and have four busy kids. When they are not chauffeuring kids to a practice or game, the family enjoys an occasional movie night, watching football and March Madness, and kayaking.
Luke Gregory
Client Service Specialist
Luke Gregory has a background in business and finance and serves as a Client Service Specialist to the Lord and Richards Team. He has very diverse experience ranging from accounting and finance to professional golf instruction. Luke recently moved to Denver from the East Coast, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. His passion for business, and success as a collegiate golfer opened opportunities to advance his career here in the beautiful state of Colorado. After years of helping people achieve a better golf game, Luke has channeled his efforts and experience to serving individuals and helping them reach their financial goals.
Luke and His wife Holly met at college in Virginia and have now started their family here in Colorado. They have a beautiful daughter, Callie Grace, as well as a son, Jonathan Taylor. As a family they enjoy playing golf, going to the pool and watching sports.
Callie Graf
Client Service Specialist
Callie holds a B.S. in Business Administration and enjoys getting to know our clients by working on our client service team. Callie loves learning about our clients’ needs and answering questions throughout the day.
Since she moved here from a small town in the frozen tundra of Northern Minnesota, Callie enjoys exploring the beautiful areas in Colorado by hunting, fishing, and learning how big city life works.
Rachel Van Gulick
Marketing Coordinator
Rachel comes to Lord and Richards after 7 years in the Country Club industry where she assisted in the planning and executing of events, developed Club Communication, and assisted in enhancing the membership experience. She holds a B.S. in Event and Meeting Management and loves to put her creativity to the test when planning events and entertaining groups of all sizes. At Lord and Richards, her expertise has been valuable in planning and executing wonderful events for prospects and clients alike.
When not at work, Rachel enjoys traveling state to state and sometimes country to country, as well as going to concerts. A Colorado native, she loves to be outdoors- whether that be Jeeping on the trails or taking her 2-year-old Golden Retriever, Rhett, for walks.
Renee Cervantes
Client Experience Manager
Renee’s 17 years of experience in Christian school development, public school communications, and journalism led her to Lord & Richards. Renee has led multiple philanthropist experiences from banquets to workshops. She has also led Communication departments for public school districts in Texas where she earned dozens of state and national awards. Prior to her work in education, Renee was a TV and newspaper reporter in Central Texas. She holds a Doctor of Education in Christian Leadership and a master’s degree in Christian ministry. She has also earned a bachelor’s degree in communication arts along with a collegiate golf scholarship. As a Texas native, Renee enjoys getting to know all that Colorado has to offer from unique restaurants and social venues to hiking trails and golf courses.
Melissa Weintraub
Administrative Assistant
Melissa came to Lord and Richards after 12 years of customer service experience. With a diverse background ranging from restaurants to construction, and most recently flight attending, Melissa is able to tailor her skills to meet the needs of our staff and clients alike. A Colorado native, she loves to be outdoors- whether that be camping, hiking, paddleboarding or horseback riding- she feels most at home in nature. Melissa and her husband Joseph, a financial advisor at Lord and Richards, are celebrating their 1-year anniversary in 2023. Together, they love traveling, playing volleyball, and challenging each other to a variety of games.
